The deal is adding over 150 professionals to the group, expanding our its activities in health, social services, tourism and transport
We have formalised the acquisition of 100% of the technology consulting firm IN2. With this purchase, we are enhancing our presence in Catalonia and bringing in over 150 new professionals, which takes the total number of employees to over 4000. We are also expanding our portfolio of technology solutions in strategic sectors like health, social services, tourism and transport.
For an initial amount of 4 million euros, the deal includes a variable payment of up to EUR 3.5 million, subject to the achievement of business targets over the next five years.
Headquartered in Barcelona and with over 30 years of experience, the tech consulting firm IN2 is offering Altia extensive experience and an annual turnover of about 8 million euros in 2023. The company has handled notable tech projects in key sectors such as health, social services, tourism, transport and industry 4.0. IN2 has established itself as a leader in the digital transformation of both private and public organisations, especially in Catalonia, thanks to its capacity for innovation and its client-focused approach.
Commitment, knowledge and experience
With IN2, Altia is strengthening its position in Catalonia, a region where it already had limited operations since the opening of its Barcelona office in February 2020. This deal is augmenting the organisation’s capabilities and bolstering its portfolio of technology solutions, allowing it to further its relationship with existing clients and explore new opportunities with them. Altia is gaining a team with a high level of commitment, knowledge and experience – values that Altia fully shares.
“We are really pleased to bring IN2’s talent, management team and experience to our organisation with a deal that is allowing us to strengthen our position in Catalonia and expand our capabilities in key sectors”, said Constantino Fernández, Altia Group CEO. “IN2’s experience clearly enhance our value proposition and bolsters our ability to make a positive impact on our clients. This is a new step in our journey to position ourselves as a reference in the European IT market”.
