The Transparency Portal and its online site, set up by the Spanish Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, has received an award in the category “Transformation of the Public State Administration” in the 16th ASLAN Digital Transformation of Public Administrations Awards.
The event, held on 17 and 18 April, offered an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and the most innovative cases in areas such as cybersecurity, digitisation and artificial intelligence.
The @aslan Digital Transformation of Public Administrations Awards, which this year had their sixteenth edition, were held as part of the Conference organised by Aslan, a tech NGO. This initiative aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between tech players in the public administration and recognise the efforts of the professionals who have led these projects.
In this eddition, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Civil Service was the winner in the category “Transformation of the Public State Administration” with the project “Transparency Portal and its online site”.
With this Portal, the Ministry has doubled down on its commitment to providing transparent information to citizens, as well as foster citizen participation and gather public opinion. The Open Government initiative has set up a Transparency Portal that provides more information in a clear and accessible manner, and enables citizens to participate in public affairs more easily. It says a lot about the administration’s priorities in the year that marks the 10th anniversary of this service – a tool that is constantly evolving and improving.
