The new office is a testament to Altia’s experience providing IT services to over 30 European institutions

We announce the opening of a new office in Rotterdam (Netherlands). This city will boast the headquarters of Altia European Services, the business unit serving European public organisations. The decision is part of our company’s international expansion strategy, which seeks to solidify our presence in EU institutions, where we already have a significant client portfolio and over twenty years of experience.

Altia European Services was created to reinforce a specialised team of more than 400 Altia professionals already providing advanced services to over 30 European institutions from a new strategic location.

Key point for expansion in the EU

The choice of Rotterdam as this unit’s headquarters was based on several key factors, the main one being its proximity to Brussels.

Oscar Fernández

"Rotterdam provides us with a privileged geographical position within the EU environment. This new office will allow us to further improve our services and continue our growth in this market.”

Another reason behind Altia’s choice is its strong relationship with various European agencies based in the Netherlands. These include very important contracts, such as the European Agency for Criminal Judicial Cooperation (Eurojust) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

“We are truly proud of this step forward in our European strategy. Rotterdam is undoubtedly a strategic location for us, and this announcement is a unique opportunity both to further develop high-value technology solutions for our customers and to strengthen our role as a strategic partner for European organisations.”
